Focus Features is releasing their new comedy/drama flick “It’s Kind of a Funny Story” into theaters in about a month from now,and the movie trailer (below) looks pretty funny as it features that dude from the funny “Hangover” movie and the recent “Dinner For Schmucks” movie Zach Galifianakis. It stars: Keir Gilchrist, Zach Galifianakis, Emma Roberts, Viola Davis, Zoe Kravitz, Aasif Mandvi, Lauren Graham, and Jim Gaffigan.

“It’s Kind of a Funny Story” revolves around character Craig Gilner who is a bright 16 year old kid thats stressed out from the demands of being a teenager. Craig eventually checks himself into Argenon Hospital and is admitted by a psychiatrist. However, the youth ward is temporarily closed,so he has to stay in the adult ward. He meets character Bobby (Zach Galifianakis) who is one of the patients there,and he becomes both Craig’s mentor and protege.

Craig also gets drawn to another 16 year old girl named Noelle (Emma Roberts) who is displaced to the adult ward. Craig has to stay in the hospital for a minimum of five days,and is sustained by friendships on both the inside and the outside as he learns more about life,love,and the pressures of growing up. “It’s Kind of a Funny story” movie hits theaters on October 8,2010 in New York and Los Angeles.
